
Highly Trained and Experienced Medical Staff
Air Ambulance Specialists (AASI) employs only highly trained,
experienced air ambulance flight crews. Quality care is our top
priority. All flight nurses and respiratory therapists have support from
qualified physician medical directors 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Our air medical staff includes:
- ICU-CCU registered nurses
- Respiratory therapists
- Critical care flight physicians
- Advanced life support paramedics
- Pediatric and neonatal Nurses
All AASI air ambulance medical staff members are required to be ACLS
(Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life
Support) certified, have flight physiology training, and have a minimum
of five years of critical care experience.
Education
At AASI, education is always a priority. Our in-house education
coordinator uses dynamic educational programs to ensure our medical
staff is up-to-date on the latest research and developments in air
ambulance transportation and at the forefront of innovation and
technology.
